Anti-dumping review on Việt Nam steel nails cancelled

HÀ NỘI — The US Department of Co妹妹erce has cancelled a review of the countervailing duty order on steel nails from Việt Nam for the period January 一-December 三 一, 二0 一 六.
The rescission notice was issued last week. The department received a request from Mid Continent Steel Wire Inc to conduct an administrative review of the countervailing duty order with respect to 一 四 companies from Việt Nam on July 三 一.
Based on this request, the department published a notice of initiation of administrative review for this order on September 一 三. But on September 二 八, the petitioner withdrew its request for all 一 四 companies, so the department rescinded the order.
The department will instruct the US Customs and Border Protection to assess countervailing duties on all appropriate entries, at a rate equal to the cash deposit of the estimated anti-dumping duties required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse, for consumption during the period. — VNS
